Now that I know the ATX can take at least a 6psi turbo its time to decide which one to get. Any ideas?

Cool, I've been on the phone with Gude also and I like them. If you're feeling ballsy however, check out www.hksusa.com and do a custom install yourself! Just pick and choose. (I just wanted to see somebody else attack before I did!)

www.steeda.com has turbo kits for the Focus. Anyone know if those would work on our cars?

whatabout the jackson supercharger? im sure that would be the best way to swing if u have an ATX

What type of performance would you get from a turbo/supercharger when you have an ATX? Would it lower the car to the mid-high 6's or low 7's?

The main advantage with an ATX is that you can shift without losing any boost.

mid 6s or low 7s? wow.. thats not a street car, supercharger will get you to 13s. depends how many psi.. if you have teh atx.. the cheapewst way to get boosted is to upgrade your radiator, since the tranny will have to be cooled a lil better.. and cars with the atx have teh radiator that cools the tranny. silla sells the best bang per buck.. 170 bux, or you can buy an intercooler and transmission cooler.. but the ammount that you need to cool the motor down for a safe boost will come out 500 bucks cheaper with just the upgraded radiator. Then you can get the whole super setup from jackson for 3000 bux, if u do a custom setup.. then your better off swapping out for the 3.0, since its a lots less work, and just about same performance. But if your willing to go to a manual trans.. and do the whole sawp.. then your best off with the turbo and just an intercooler.. but $$ is more than just an object here.
