Hi Y'all! Glad you found my store. Buy lots! lol The thermo does fit the Contour no problem... Anybody in the Riverside, CA area that can bring their car over to see if any other parts from the Zx2 fits (ie: udp, pots mods, coil, plug wires, cams, cam gears, yadda yadda...?) ------------------ ZXtuner Store 1999 ZX2 S/R 128.5 wheel hp @ 6250 rpm 9.62 sec @ 72.11mph (1/8)

ROFL!! You guys are hillarious!
You can go to the parts store and get a 180F thermostat that will fit the car. No, I ain't giving you the part number 'cause you should be able to figure this out for yourselves. It's easy, just take a look at the 195F and compare it until you see the proper one...pssst, they also have a 180F listed in most AP computers; ie:Pepboys. Still, it isn't wise to go any lower.
But you're sure funny, like you struck gold! HAHAHAHA!

zxtuner, what would that "Intake - ZXtuner Upper Intake Tube & Elbow" do on a Contour? Remove the plenum and the snorkle hose / massive resonator?
Someone go out to his shop at test fit that sucker! I have a feeling the TB sizes are different, but that should be a simple little fix if zxtuner is willing to help out. It'd sure make that KKM intake look real perty under da hood.

I totally agree. I know the Focus TB is bigger than the Contour/Mystique so we can't use the nice straight tube that they have. Any ideas zxtuner?????

zx2 t/b O.D. is 2.75", the intake tube other end's O.D. is 2.75" also. If it doesn't fit, I'll be happy to make one that'll work. My big Q is does the udp from the zx2 work on a Contour? C'mon, can someone stop on by? I promise not to sell you anything ------------------ ZXtuner Store 1999 ZX2 S/R 128.5 wheel hp @ 6250 rpm 9.62 sec @ 72.11mph (1/8) 2340 lbs.

Oh, and if anybody's interested in lightweight alloy rims, I can order 4x114.3mm bolt pattern ALT210's (13.25 lbs ea in 15x6.5, 15.25lbs in 16x7). Prices start at $137.00 each. I'm putting a set on my car tomorrow. 16x7 Wheels and 195/50ZR16 Dunlop SP9000 Tires together weigh in at 35.5lbs... light. Compare that to the 44lbs my 17" Focal R5's and BFG 205/40HR17's weigh. ------------------ ZXtuner Store 1999 ZX2 S/R 128.5 wheel hp @ 6250 rpm 9.62 sec @ 72.11mph (1/8) 2340 lbs. Cool, cool. Gotta clean my KKM filter this weekend, I'll just plop the plenum off and measure the OD and see what we find. I've measured it once before but can't remember the number to save my life. Was gunna try making something at Home Depot but couldn't find the right size, whatever size it was.
