I did notice the questions involving the Mobil 1 filter, but have made the decision to buy them in spite of this. My reasons are:
1. The purolator has- as the article states- SO many pleats that it might restrict flow, and
2. Those incidents of the filter coming apart are unsubstantiated. They MIGHT be happening. They MIGHT not, he cites nobody in particular. He also says, if my memory serves properly, that these are ISOLATED incidents.
Let me just reread the page.
Okay, well that server is down or something and the page won't come up. Did the address change?
