Agree with CRANK, but if you want to go beyond 3000 miles I do not suggest using crap filters like Fram or petroleum oil. I change my Zetec once a year using synthetics oil and Pure One filter.
Any piece of junk will work (there is nothing to filter out at 3000 miles) so if you cahnge it then I agree, no problems.
