Whoa!!! Every study and article you can read on filters all say the same "FRAMS ARE CRAP". Cheap canister, cheap anti drainback valve and fewer pleats. Actually, Motorcraft filters are pretty good but better in my opinion are the Pure Ones (made by Purolator) the Mobil 1 the best and Amsoil/Hastings. However, if you chagne your oil every 3,000 miles you can use crap for oil and filters and still get 100,000 plus miles!
