I would strongly recommend that you install a set of NGK ? PTR5A-13 (Stock No. 2467) Laser Platinum Spark Plugs I installed a set in my 1996 Zetec and along with the K&N Filter the performance was phenomenal. They way outperformed the original AZFS22PP Motorcraft Platinum Plugs. Note the NGK plug threaded area is a little taller than that of the Motorcraft, however, this will not cause any problems. Give them a try I am sure you will be impressed.
