We just gen'd up two C-130s (2 of 3 suppressors) to head out and aid. They usually support California but we need them now.

The day this started, Sunday, my brother and I saw it from base. We have a perfect view of the entire front range. Both us being military and prior thought it was a bomb. The very first stages were identical to one. No wind, perfect(I MEAN PERFECT) mushroom cloud with a very small vortex center. I was going to get the camera and then noticed that the cloud was continual...then I knew from being in the military and prior FF that it was definitely a fire. He couldn't believe it. He's back in IL now and can tell everyone he saw it all. Brad's right, sooner or later rain will come.
