I think we are ALL affected when it comes to all the fires. It's a terrible terrible thing and I hope it will all be over soon. But, directly, I don't know anyone who has been injured or had property damage. The Hayman fire is certainly creeping towards Denver though...its consumed about 90,000 acres so far. The one in Glenwood Springs was at 10,000 acres last night...and thats not to mention the 'smaller' fires.
This severe drought we're having doesn't help matters either...we should be getting rain twice a week but its been more like twice a month.
