Yes I have been!! Yesterday I installed a Bullitt fuel door, an Apexi S-AFC, & my 80mm MAF. Woohoo for me! Hey Brad, I too am waiting for Derek to start saying that four letter word. laugh But until then, anyone know much about tuning the A/F?
Also, my BAT kit will be here between now and next week and so should my gas bonnets. Depending on when I get it, anyone wanna help? As of now I'm looking at next Wednesday. Mainly because if I screw it up too bad, I have Thursday to fix it. laugh

Thanks!

Hey, you describe yourself the same way we described one of the cheerleaders at my high school!

Post whores...

Tim,
I think I'm off next Wednesday so I should be able to help with the BAT install assuming you get it in time. Hopefully we can get it done pretty quick(less than 12 hours) considering I've already installed struts/springs before. Not sure about tuning the SAFC though, try searching the performance, dyno, and 3.0L conversion forums from the last 6 or 7 months. Should be plenty of info there.

heheh, lotsa comedians out there! laugh

Thanks Brad, I'll let you / everyone know when I receive them. I'm hoping it can all be done in 12hrs, because it would suck if it wasn't? I know the rear's are going to be harder so if those can get done fairly quickly, the fronts should be a piece of cake. The only cars I've done struts/springs on was first gen toyota mr2's..
Man, I miss my '2'. frown
Oh well, got my SVT, so I can't complain. wink

I've searched around for A/F tuning and I guess I just don't understand the way they are tuning. They are listening to noises while the car is at WOT at specific RPM's, etc. It's definately a two man job.

Actually its quite the opposite with these cars. There is less to deal with on the rears, they just sound more complicated from how-to than the fronts do. But trust me, the rears are much much easier. You'll see. laugh

Do third and fourth gear runs on the highway while tuning. Watch your sensor voltages and adjust your fuel trim according to lean or rich conditions. But, you should take it to a dyno shop and get it tuned that way.

Guess what hasn't came in the mail yet! That's right, my BAT kit. Oh well, guess I'm not planning on installing it tomorrow. But there's always next week! wink
Hey Mike, I think I understand, just a bit hard to do when I'm the only fool in the car cruising down the highway. smile

Tim,
If you've got that SAFC already come up here tommorrow morning sometime and we'll get it all hooked up and tuned. I'm off all day and don't really have anything planned. We could even go to Paragon if you want and have it Dyno tuned...up to you. Let me know, email in my sig. laugh
