Mike - derekderkacs@yahoo.com
Tim - a custom burned chip is a good idea, but maybe not a safe bet. I'm still kinda wary about their reputation. They seem to be a 50/50 kinda mod. If I were to go for a chip, I'd get my A/F ratios off of the dyno and send my info to CTAmotorsports. Hopefully that would increase my chances of getting power, but who knows if it would agree w/ my car or not.

From what I understand about the superchips is their primary function is to help control spark and timing. I'm sure they do lend a hand in fuel mapping, but that's why you get an a/f controller. laugh

Tim, yeah, their main purpose is spark/timing advance. But, w/ A/F numbers, and a custom burn, you can program that info into the chip as well.

Tim, I guess I'll have to cruise around Security every once in awhile, besides I've been meaning to go to A & W's for some time now.

Derek,
Thanks for the e-mail address.

I'll be gone to Albuquerque for bike races this next weekend, and then I think the weekend after that is spring break laugh ...
