Sorry, I know this has been awnsered before. What is the price of a 3 liter short block, and were can I get one. I can see it in the SVT's future.

I used junkyard dog and searched for 3L's from 99-up Taurii and I came up with prices everywhere from $550-900 depending on condition, miles, etc
I think I am gonna try a local source though because I want more than just the shortblock......

From my various inquiries over time you are probably going to have to buy the whole engine, not just the short block. I haven't tried too hard to see if anyone would buy the heads back, but I had no luck getting any junkyard interested in buying my complete SE engine (still in my car while I get my ducks in a row to do the 3L!).

I do know that the Sho-Shop has the block kit for like $1500.oo and that with all it tricked out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
