69Boss302 and Planet Ed, it's good to see some more CEG folks from down in this area. It used to be just John and me, and everyone else was from Denver or Greeley. What do you guys do down in the Springs?

Not much .. I've been living in front of my computer when I'm off work.. Thats why I need to get out more, meet people and have some fun ..
As for work I'm a Communications Specialist(DOD civilian) out at Schriever AFB .. I'm the Quality Assurance Evaluator for the DSCS and Milstar satellite communications terminals .. Basically I just sit on my butt and make sure the contractors are doing their jobs in accordance with the contract ...

Hey Ben, Yot're right, it is good to see that there are fellow CEGERS(pronounced kegers) here in the area.
I've been working alot lately, so not much time to play. I'm at Cheyenne Mtn., working in the Space Control Squadron. Tracking all the man-made stuff in space.
Planet Ed, how long have you been at Falcatraz? I was over there in 1SOPS from 98 to last december, glad to not have that drive any longer.
I'm going home for the next few weeks, so I won't be around for awhile. We should all get together sometime and go out to a track and have fun. Gotta go off to the slave mines for now, Mike

I know, almost got mine about two years ago. Came in for a mid one night, got to the top and hit about 4 inches of slush, the car got all sorts of sideways and almost lost it. Sad to say though that next morning the Shoppette manager wasn't so lucky. The same thing happened to her. Garbage Hill sucks. You work with LockMart? Mike
BTW, shoot me an email if you ever want to run to a track sometime. Been wanting a good excuse to go to a track. My buddy has a 97 Integra TypeR, and he wants to run that thing too. Anyway, give me a holler sometime. michael.allen@cheyennemountain.af.mil

Yea I remember about that accident .. Heck we lost someone from CE a few months ago in a wreck there on the hill ...
I'll let you know about the track ... When I first got here I was working for ITT .. Aug 00 I trasfered over and took a lowly GS-09 government position ... Hopefully this summer I'll get bumped up to a GS-11 .. Then I'll have a little bit $$ to put into mods ...

-Lance Oh yeah, I had forgotten you were here for the national meet last year. But yeah, thats the course. Keep us updated if you get a job here...I'm sure we can all help you move.

Well whats up with moving to Colorado they just offered me a job there in Ft collins but I got to see if it works out I need to find a good house and I heard that the cost of living is little high compared to SLC and I still live at home and pay $200 a month,(you can't beat that) so I'm still thinking about it, Tony what are the hours for 2nd creek I'm going to be there a month with a rental and I will be very bored in my hotel room so if I can go out there and beat the sh*t out of the car, that will give something to do.

Jose, on the open test and tune days the time is 3 to dark I think. Something like that.

I don't know how often Bob checks in sao he can correct me if I'm wrong but if you get out there before 3 on the car day and there is nothing else going on you can get out before 3. For $60 you need, at least a few hours to make it worth it.
