I believe that my three dyno's all started at about 2500 rpm. Definatly below the secondaries opened up, thats for sure. What I would do if I were you is show up a bit early, pop your hood to let things cool down a bit, then dyno. Make sure that you get both the graphical as well as tabular print outs of your dyno run.

I don't think I'll be doing any more track days this year, as after 104k miles I'm starting to have some 3rd gear syncro problems. Nothing major, but no need to make it any worse than it is now.
