Hi Aaron. I don't know the specifics on the CAI but have you tried using 1010220 or 1010811 for calling long distance? I don't have long distance service so this is what I do. KKM also makes an open element intake for your car. It is not cold air though. Our moderator, JC Aimhigher, makes a great heat shield to go with the KKM to keep the air cold. Hope this helps.
