I may just do what DanB sugested and get summer/winter tires. We don't have a local Pirelli dealer.

I used the Goodyear Eagle RS-A's this last winter(Denver, CO)and they do very well in the snow...just as long as you're going straight. In turns and sometimes under acceleration they tend to lose a little grip. But for a Performance All-Season they do very well...205/55-16 is the size I'm on right now. They also do pretty good in dry traction.

The Kumhos(712s Pictured)are non-existant in the snow...you may as well walk to where you're going. The Dunlops would be a little better but not much...the best thing(I think)is to have a set for winter and a set for summer/spring/fall. Thats what I do. laugh

I got come Bizzaks for the winter on 15'' blackies. Isn't too pretty, but does the job in the snow. I feel uncomfortable on the freeway with those though... not like z-rated tires. You can jerk the weel, and your car will stay a straight line, the body will just move. Do whatever you gotta do.
