If you go to a 215 width, I'd drop to about a 55 profile. Dunno if anyone even makes a 215/55R15, but I suspect that would be closer to the same diameter as the 205/60R15's.

If you increase the width by about 5%, then you need to reduce the sidewall by about the same percentage.

PS, if this link works, it is a list of TireRack's 215/50-15 tires. They had no 55 series in this width.

Looking at the Dunlop SP5000's, the 215/50-15 will turn 885 revolutions per mile, while your stock 205/60-15's will turn 847 revolutions per mile. This makes the stock tire larger than the 215mm wide replacement. So your speedo will read 4% too fast.

If you go with the 215/60, your tires will turn 808 revolutions per mile (even larger than the factory tire as stated before) and your speedo will read about 4% too slow.
