Specs change for aftermarket. Yes, I know about the 62 spec. 30 is ridiculously low. As reported in this forum, IIRC, Ford published a technical update moving the spec up into the 80 ft-lb range. This is also the range recommended by Tirerack for most of the wheels they sell.

I "torqued" my stock alloys by feel for years, but when I went to aftermarket wheels, I bought a torque wrench. $15 on E-bay, and happy with it so far.
