I'm running 17" Enkei RS6's with 215/45z/17 tires on my SVT and I get a little rubbing with 4 people in the car. What is the best way to remedy this? Stiffer Sway bar, thus less body roll? Spacers (what size)? Other fixes? Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the advice. get wheels that fit correctly. :p but in all seriousness, we need to know what width and offset your wheels are in order for us to help. where are you rubbing? what car? what suspension?
Please: put something meaningful in your post subject! NOT "please readme!". -------------------- "your" is possessive, "you're" is the conjunction that is short for "you are", "there" is for "the dictionary is over THERE", "their" is the possessive one, and "they're" is a conjunction that is short for "they are". have a nice day  -------------------- Silver Frost non-E1 SVT/Contour see my registry/profile: http://contour.org/carprofile/carprofile.cgi?a=display&uid=00004623

What is the best way to remedy this? Stiffer Sway bar, thus less body roll? Spacers (what size)? Other fixes? Under what conditions does it rub? When both wheels go up, or during cornering? What do they rub on? The wheel well liners, or the strut, or the fender lip? I would be VERY hesitant to try to fix a rubbing problem by changing a sway bar. Sway bars are for changing cornering balance, not for keeping aftermarket components from fighting over real estate. My snow tires (215-55-16 on E1 wheels) rubbed the back of the wheel liner, just in front of the muffler, because the rolling radius was larger than stock. That was easy to fix - I just cut the liner with a tin snips. -Kurt

Thanks guys... the wheels are Enkei RS6's 17x7 (offset 38mm), with Kumho 215-45z-17 tires. I mostly rub on the passenger rear tire, not sure exactly what it is rubbing on. Happens on cornering and when both rear go up. My car is a 2000 Contour SVT on stock suspension. Thanks for the advice.

your offset is too low. 7 inch needs a minimum of 40 to not rub. buts its too late for that. gotta find out where the tire rubs, what part of the fender area.
...and yes, I did SEARCH first before asking.

munson, u should've gotten 205/55 for snows. thats what i got. narrower tires in the winter is better to cut into the snow better.
