I bought a pair of Dunlop SP 5000 Asymetricals (stock size) through Tire Rack a few months ago.

Absolutely love them. The grip is amazing (AA traction rating) and they were only $100 ea.

And they're awesome in wet/snow too!

Just my $.02

cool

Last year we got a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE950's on my wife's 99 Galant (ES V6). NICE NICE NICE! Best tires I've bought to date. Excellent wet & dry traction, great road feel, not a lot of noise. Not a bad price either--$90-100 at tirerack. Terrible in snow, but that's why we put the Arctic Alpin's on for the almost-no-snow winter. Potenzas are going back on this weekend.
