I have a strong dislike for chrome on anything. I don't know why. I guess it is just too flashy for me. Speed kills, but it beats going slow! HellaHydro Member H Joined: May 2001 Posts: 1,687 Metro Detroit	chrome being heavy is a general misconception although there are some heavy ones. but in many cases you can get the same rim in either aluminum or chrome and their weight will be identical, the chrome is just a finish. Take for instance the 18" Katana T5 chrome wheels I purchased. They weighed the same as the aluminum version although they did cost a little more.
