OK, i know i'm getting a touring rim for my car. But i was wondering on the choice of the color style. I have a champagne color tour, with all of CEG's wisdom, i was wondering what would look better on the tour...Silver, white, black or chorome. I like white but i honestly don't think it would go with the color of my car. I want any type of suggestions or flamage!

i would go with the white as well. sounds like a bad combo, but there is a champagne colored saturn around here that has white racing harts on his car and it looks IMO very good. sorta new to this, is your car 5 lug? i know mine is 4 but not if all of them are. if its 5 i have some white team dynamics for sale if your interested. good luck with rim selection!

I would go with the Silver considering the color of the car. Oh and all Contours are 4-108 lug pattern.

Go silver, white is to much and chrome is a pain.

My suggestions are as follows...

Conservative looking but nice:

16x7 Mille Miglia Cello (silver)

Less conservative in terms of size:

17x7.5 Mille Miglia Cello (silver)
17x7.0 Moda R3 (silver)

Less conservative, racier, but pricey:

17x7.0 OZ Racing Superleggera (gunmetal)

I would recommend a silver wheel on your car. If you do
not have a strong and overwhelming desire to get white
or black wheels (which you don't seem to) I suspect that
you may come to regret them later. A bright silver painted
wheel is always classy and classic, I doubt you would feel
they were the wrong choice in a year.

Unless you've modified your suspension, or plan to, stick
with the 16x7 Mille Miglia Cello I say. They will offer a nice
wide profile for some decent rubber, you won't have to be
so attentive to your tire pressures with minor temperature
fluctuation (easily the biggest chore with low-profile rubber
other than trying not to curb your new wheels), and you're
not going to have to put up with 4x4 fender gap.

You may also want to look at the ATS "DTM" and "DTM2000"
wheels available from Discount Tire Direct. The wheels that
I listed above are available from Tire Rack.

Cheers, and good luck...

T.

I just put the 17" ASA K3's on my car. They have a satin silver finish. They look very nice, but everyone's tastes differ.

Want to get an idea?

I love my Contour to death, but my 'vette is still my #1 baby.
There's money to be made in racing. I should know. I put a lot of it there.

Try www.superbuytires.com. THey have the biggest collection of wheels for the contour that I have seen so far. From bling bling to conservative with all price ranges. ONly draw back is pkg deals only come with a choice of 2 tires. Falkens and Kumho 712's. NOt the best but still decent tires.

yeah they do have a good selection but they don't budge on the prices. I've found that www.wheelmax.com has some really good deals.
