Superior made a 17" wheel for our cars that is a exact replica of the Cobra wheel, basically same design on the 16" E1 wheel. The size is 17x7 w/ 42mm offset. This is the Ford spec for a 17" wheel on a Contour, per the Mondeo 17" wheels. These were sold in limited numbers, a fire sale happened on them last year around Feb/Mar. Wheels sold for $80 painted each. Guy had 10 sets of the painted ones. I have a set and my friend does as well, he is considering selling his as he has not fitted them yet. Still in OE boxes. He is looking for more than he paid as they are quite limited. Just a note, the boxes these wheels came in had a Ford Blue Oval on the box. I would not put 17x9 wheels on my car, they are meant for RWD. I rub like biatch now with 225/45 rubber and my car is not lowered, I can only imagine a 17x9 with low offset. Others that have these wheels from Superior include SF-SVT, BritishBanger, BNoon, beyondloadedse

I would like to get a second set of 17" rims for autoxing. I also would like to keep the "SVT" look.....There has got to be a company that makes Cobra R's in 17" with the right bolt pattern and offset for our CSVTs.....I'll just wait until I find them 98 CSVT w/ a little kick added... #2625 of 6535 Defending freedom and liberty the best way I know how....by killing those who threaten it!
