Thank you for your responses. My KDW's have 31,000 miles and not much tread left on them. As an experiment, I had all four rebalanced. The vibration all but stopped but the noise is just as bad as before. The side-to-side swerve test indicated the bearings are not bad.
As I am in my fortys, I've owned many sets of tires. Some have performed on par with the KDW's but none have ever even been close to how noisy the KDW's are.
I greatly enjoy music (as you can probably surmise by my e-name) and the sound of my SVT's engine/exhaust. I'm currently researching a better sound system (I've stuck with the poor performing factory system only because of bad memories of insurance companies and repair shops after having two systems ripped from my previous car) and a less restrictive exhaust system.
I guess the only way to fully enjoy the sounds of my SVT is to replace the KDW tires with non-KDW tires.
