Not sure by what you mean when you say they run wide, but I have the 225x45x17's on ASA K3's and they don't extend beyond the 'lip' of the rim at all. They are a phenominal tire... Use tirerack.com to do side-by-side comparisons. That was the selling point for me going with TireRack. Well, that and the fact they were over a hundred less than buying local...
