OK, one last try at this because I just can't make up my mind Replacing my KDW 215/50/16s that came stock on my 99 green SVT and I've found out a couple things. One, you can't buy that size tire at a decent price, even at costco they are 700-800 for a set. That's no problem, of course, since they do have the 225/50/16s at about 500 a set in both the KDW and the Potenza 730 I like the KDWs I have on the car now, they stick very nicely, though they are loud at low speeds and now vibrate a bit at higher speeds.
But in tire forums the prevailing thought on the 730s is they get very loud after several thousand miles.
Has anyone had this experience with the 730s. I really don't mind some noise if it isn't overwhelming.

driven with both on my '99, your splitting hairs with this one IMHO. Either would be a good performer, I'd go for COST, all else being equal.

Look at the KDWS instead of the KDW. It is much quieter. It is an unusual tire in that it is an all season ultra high performance tire. $115.00 each at tire rack in 225/50R16.

I think you should check tire rack or try to pm luke from tirerack. I got a set of potenza s-03's for something like 640-650 to my door. So you should be able to find either of the tires you are looking for a lot cheaper. Oh and by the way s-o3's kick a$$!!

and the kdw's (not kdws) were under 100buck each a few months back. i think they r 115 now (give or take a little) and in 215/50/16. a set should still be under 500.
...and yes, I did SEARCH first before asking.

What size is everyone running on the S03's? Any lowered suspensions? Any rubbing? I want these tires but they only have 215/55 or 225/45 in 16" sizes.
