Anyone running the S-03's on the stock E1 or E0 rims? If so what size? I was thinking 225/50/16, but I've heard the Pole Positions run wide so they might rub.
Thanks in Advance.

I stand corrected... turns out Bridgestone bought Firestone in the 80s, not the other way around.

Not sure by what you mean when you say they run wide, but I have the 225x45x17's on ASA K3's and they don't extend beyond the 'lip' of the rim at all. They are a phenominal tire... Use tirerack.com to do side-by-side comparisons. That was the selling point for me going with TireRack. Well, that and the fact they were over a hundred less than buying local...
I love my Contour to death, but my 'vette is still my #1 baby. There's money to be made in racing. I should know. I put a lot of it there. You can make a small fortune in racing. Start with a large one. How fast do you want to go...how much money do you have? You can fix a lot of things, but you can't fix stupid!

By running wide I mean that 225 with all brands isn't necessarily the same, and I have read that S-03's are wider than other tires in the same size. I am trying to find out if anyone is using S-03's with the stock E1 wheels, that is all.

Are you guys still splitting hair? The first reply was the best. If you drove your car back to back with both sets of tires, you won't notice a difference. So, get the one that is cheaper or flip a coin. Check out Tirerack's pages for measured tire sizes. For instance, the S-03 is about as wide as it gets for section width and tread width.

Ah, thanks for that link.
I think the original poster's question was the difference between the RE730's and KDW's, not the S-03's.
