Are you using factory type pads, because there's some good quality aftermarket pads that lesson the dust.

I have the autozone pads with lifetime warrenty. I am planning to upgrade to svt brakes so I dont want to invest in expensive pads. Regardless of the pads though there will still be brake dust and brake dust sux. But I guess you could go with the alternative and go without brakes and do the flinstone thing.

I believe it's the EBC Greenstuff Roadsport brakepads a guy I new once had them and loved them he said he couldn't believe how much less dust he got with them. I know that you can check them out a ctamotorsports.com.

the other night I met a guy who owned a Viper, he was using the EBC pads and he had chrome rims, and apparently he only needed to clean them once a month. usually less

That makes no sense. You are going to pay how much for the SVT brakes (rotors and calipers and brake lines) and yet use $20 pads? Good pads are only what, $50? You oviously have never had good pads before because good pads alone would be better than the stock SVT pads. Get the EBC green stuff's and make sure to bleed them.

I did not say I was going to invest in svt brakes and not get good pad, I just want something for now so that when I can afford them I will not have invested in pads and have to through them in the trash. Unless the pads will swap over to the svt, or whatever aftermarket system I buy, and I dont think they will. I just want to keep my wheels clean till then!!!

My misunderstanding. I am sorry. I am not sure if you can use the same pads now as later with the SVT setup. Possibly. Check the brakes forum. As for what to do know with the brake dust, just wash your wheels every other day. Sorry, I had the same problem and just left them dirty.

Check out ctamotorsports.com it has a few different EBC products and all the contact info for Chris, and he can ship them to you.
