For those of you asking.........

If you have an Autometer Elect. gauge, you have all the parts you need. It should have the sender and the 1/8 to 1/4 adapter.

Remove the bolt in the cylinder head with a 1/4 allen socket, and install away. You'll have to move some of the items in the way, I have no freakin' idea what they are called, so just move it if you need to, and remember where it went.

Here's a couple pics of what the final objective looks like.(except for hooking up the wire to the gauge, and putting all the hoses back on)

Thanks! It looks to be an easy install in that location.

Thanks moe. So are you saying the Autometer kit has the correct sender & all that we need. Those pics are of the cylinder head - I dont have my orientation. How long did it take?

I bought the Autometer Elect. Gauge and didn't have to buy anything else. It comes with the sender(the big gold thing) and the 1/8 to 1/4 adapter.

The real PITA is getting my big a$$ hand down there to put it in. Just be patient, and move something if it's in the way, you can always put it back later. I only had to unhook 2 or 3 things and the total time was around 1 hour.

And yes Dan, that is the Cylinder Head location. Stand by the front drivers side wheel, and look between the EGR and TB, and then look 3-4 inches down and towards the block & heads......you should see a hole that looks like an allen key would fit in it. That's the one! I would think that tapping into the head is allot easier than running a t-fitting off of the factory sender.

Thanks to whoever posted the Cylinder Head location!!
