I might be able to find a wiring diagram in a Haynes manual if you're interested I bet it gets the speed sensor from the radio. I read that you guys have a speed sensing volume control for the Mondeos. You have to buy a Lincoln LS to get that over here

I really missed it on a recent trip to Florida when the Buick Regal I hired did not have it!!!!

My sister just got a 99 cougar and her stereo automatically adjusts the volume.. kind of a neat feature. Her cougar has all the trip stuff as well (outside temperature/miles per gallon/etc). It's a nice car, just don't sit in the back seat! -Edit: btw, I am interested in getting these for our cars as well. If we find out a way to do it this would make a good group buy. ~Matt R.

Paul et al.
The image is quite readable if you view it as full size (or whatever they call it)
Probably the quality of that image is as good as the original jpg

Yes, viewing full screen looks better. Just get a taco neck. If I get one, I can post a How-To of the installation. I'm hoping all the wires are close by to tap. Either that, or there is a niffty pigtail I can get that would simply plug in... Fat chance, huh?

Spend eng $ decontenting the harness or spend the couple pennies per carto keep it there?

yeah, I'm a bit worried that there is an input to the trip computer that is deleted from the US PCM, but I can't find any wiring diagrams yet.
It's all about balance.
