Hakkas are great. They do not have the mixed compound of Blizzaks (55% of the tread - then a regular winter tire). The guys up here are getting 5-6 seasons up here out of their tires. I find mine to be very sure-footed. The price sounds very reasonable. The tires are Finnish. For more info see
www.nokiantires.com. Personally I recommend them over any other winter tire although they are expensive. However almost any winter tire is better than running all-seasons (what a misnomer!). Try them you'll like them.
