My names not Luke but I doubt you'll mind if I chime in. I've been looking at Ultra performance tires for next dry season(Denver)and the s03's are at the top of my list. I thought I saw them in a 215 size on tire racks site but maybe not. Have you considered upsizing to a 225 in the s03s? I know they make those.

S-03's are seriously the best non drag tire you can get for serious traction, nothing is stickier, i would get them if i had money to replace them every summer (sticky read=no treadwear)

The S-03 Pole Position is the best tire money can buy !!! it is most assuredly worth the extra $28 bucks

I replaced 235 Pirelli Rossos with 225 SO3s and the 225 SO3s were just as wide(if not wider) as the 235 Pirellis. The SO3s are a great tire and I think you will definitely like them, just wanted to warn you about the width - which may cause you to have serious rubbing issues.

i am in the same boat here. i'm looking at the s-03's compared to the pilot sports. anyone have any thoughts here? luke? i know the pilots are more money, but are they worth it? as of right now, i'm leaning towards the s-03's...thanks for any comments

I am kind of leaning toward these very agressive looking tires to add to my 17s. That is when I get them. After reading the reviews, looking at the numbers, and comparing them to the KDWs I have now, they appear to be the perfect tire. Their treadwear rating seems to be higher than that KDS too, which would lead me to believe that they would last longer. Luke, what are the treadwear ratins on the S-03s vs. the KDWS?

I'm not Luke but IIRC the S-03's have a 220 rating as opposed to the KDW's 300. On a side note Luke did you get my message? need to order S-03's today. And I was hoping to be able to deal with you.
