http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/index.jsp Of the tires you mentioned, I did have experience with the Touring T/A's on my 97 SE. I didn't care for them too much, although treadwear was excellent, I found the handling to be lacking. Decent in the rain. Guess it depends on how your wife drives. I'd take a look through the various categories on the above link and see what you find. But for an 1st gen SE, in my opinion, stay away from Touring tires, if I recall, the stock SE tires were considered high-performance all-season, which is a step above the touring category.
