You might want to consider Nokian "Hakka" 1 tires for your car. (The Finns are possibly the only people who understand winter better than us Canucks.
With the mild Vancouver temperatures, you could get excessive wear. The Blizzaks tender to blister if the pavement is too warm. The Hakkas are what the rally folks out here in Ontario use.
