I have some KDW's that I put on about 7,000 miles ago. I rotated them at 5,000, and unless you look really carefully, you can't see any visible wearing yet.

I'm very, very happy with them so far. Gotta swap 'em out for my winter tires in about another 3 or 4 weeks, though.
