I think the Mystique also has some subtle difference in seat placement, with a different ratio of front legroom to rear legroom. The Consumer Reports interior room measurements were slightly different.

When I tried a pre-98 Steek in a showroom, before buying my Tour, it seemed cramped, and I was surprised not to find the Tour excessively cramped. I don't know what was going on there, maybe the seat's height was adjusted weird or something.
