FWIW, I have the Kumho 225/50-16's on my 'tour w/ the SVT E0 rims. I've never had a problem, even with 300 pounds of Emergency Medical Services equipment in the trunk and the car loaded with passengers going over rough bumps and sharp turns. NEVER any rubbing. There just not as wide on 6.5 rims like they are on 7". I've measured the section on mine compared to the section on a 1999 Grand Am GT. Now if you mount these on 7" wide rims, they might give you a problem. I've never heard of anyone going wider than a 225 section without serious mods to the wheel wells. 215/50-16 is probably the most ideal, though. I just felt like going to the extreme for a change...nothing else better to do around here. Anyway, HTH.
