You can be a pioneer if you like, but this combo is not recommended.

For one thing the 225 section width is really only feasible with a 18-inch diameter wheel. For example a Plus 2 fitment for the E1 SVT (OEM 215/50-16) would be a 225/40-18 or even a 225/35-18. Although the latter would provide a very stiff ride & possibly poor aesthetics due to the short sidewall height.

Similarly, the 45 series sidewall on a 16-inch diameter wheel is really too short & thus the ride quality would suffer. Also the appearance of this combo would look odd due to the fact that the short sidewall would not "fill" the wheel well enough, creating an unsightly gap between the top of the tire/wheel & the fender.

Either go with the OEM combo listed above or the original OEM SVT combo of 205/55-16. Or the Plus 1 option of 215/45-17.
