I am currently looking for almost the same thing for my car now (2000 SE) 38,000 Miles and while I did think the dry handeling was ok on the stocks I hated the wet/snow handeling so much that I had to drive way slow when it started to rain out there. I am currently looking at getting Comp T/A HR4-2 from tirerack http://www.tirerack.com/tires/bfg/bf_tahr4.jsp mostly because of the free gtech-pro if bought before the end of the month but also because they are slitly better in the rating on tirerack in both the wet and snow stuff now if you look at the highest rated one the the all-season high performance tire you will see it is the Potenza RE950 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/bridgestone/bs_re950.jsp they are more expensive but look to be better tires the the Comp T/A HR4-2 I am also looking for something that might wear better than the OEM firerocks and am hopign that the Comp T/A HR4-2 will do that for me (so anyody with comments is welcome to give them to me also) err yeah I know I talk to much why do you ask ?
