That's it exactly.

To be honest I "borrowed" the O-ring reference from a previous issue of Motor Trend when they did a road test of the then-new Saleen S351R Mustang. They referred to the massive Michelins with their decidedly low profile sidewall as being "O-rings" wrapped around the 18-inch Speedline wheels.

So, in other words Ms. Kitty, I was merely teasing you with a humorous rhetorical question. No offense intended.

I didn't understand earlier about what you meant by O-ring, but I guess I do now, Yeah the tires are pretty thin for such a big wheel, but I think it handles a lot better, it's just a very very bumpy ride! Every little groove in the road I can definately feel perfectly...lol
