That was a common tire on Cougars and they worked well on them. I have also seen them used often as a replacement tire on Mark VIII's for someone that is both value minded and performance minded. They don't ride quite as soft (but nearly) as the original Michelins, but they handle better and last longer. I agree though that they are older technology. The KDWS is an all season tire that does everything that tire will do and more.
