My car gets noticed - NEVER! No one knows what the heck it is. For example, I am thinking of selling it and my wife likes the older 300Z cars. So, I went with her to this little place (We drove our Pathfinder) to look at one. This salesman asks me what I want to trade. I told him a 99 SVT Contour. How much do you want? Oh, around 13 to 14k. He looks at me and says "I think that we have one of those cars here, and I am only asking 3995" Thats when his little buddy starts laughing at me in his Mexican accent. I immediately demanded to see this "SVT". He shows me a piece of crap white 98 SE V6 with the nastiest looking wheels on it, 111k miles on it and no stereo. Dents and rust all over it. "This is the top of the line Contour, loaded" is what he tells me. I just shook my head and left...
I had to vent that story, my wife is tired of me complaining about it to her.
