Your the one talking about all this great service before and after the sale and they wont even rotate your tires. Give me a break. Tire rotation, flat repair and balancing are all free services at any good tire place when you buy your tires there. You should have to get the jack out yourself and no one is 150.00 more then tire rack there prices suck to begin with.

Let me click on those two links you posted at the top of the thread... Ok. Done looking. I don't see anything on either site about free tire rotations, free flat repairs, or free balancing. Your point is moot. Why'd you waste your time typing that out?

Go out to an autocross some weekend and ask around about where you should pick up some new tires. Tell me how many people reccomend Tire Rack and how many reccomend Victoria Tire?

I had one of my Comp T/A VR4's get cut about a month after I had it. I went to NTB to see how much they wanted. Over $150. Called Tire Rack and I had one FedEx'd in for under $90, mounting and balancing was $10 the next day. So I just saved $50 on one tire, including mounting and balancing. I have just met the $150 number that I quoted and exceeded it by 30%.

Like I said at the begining of this I was not trying to rag on tire rack I was just wondering why everyone seemed to use them if they are close to where everyone lives or what the deal is.

And you got a bunch of replies about why Tire Rack is the retailer of choice for alot of us. What's the big problem?

And look at luke's post gee you cant tell he's in sales can you.

Of course Luke is a salesman. His job is to sell the best wheel and/or tire to a customer according to the customer's needs and he does that very well. He gives his reccomendations based on his racing experience and based on what he knows from talking to hundreds of other customers and reading the results of Tire Rack's testing. He is the best kind of salesperson, the kind that I like -- educated in what he sells. People like Luke is why I buy from Tire Rack.
