Will 225/50 16 fit on our SVTs or will they rub. According to Tire Rack they have the exact same overall diameter as 205/55 16s. It's just the width is over an inch more. Thanks Jim

Haven't tried it myself, but CEGer Jim Johnson has the 225/50's on his SVT, and says they fit like a charm...snug, but no rubbing.

It's true, my BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDWS (not KDW) in size 225/50R16 fit like a charm. Luke at tire rack is being cautious (as he should be). After I placed my order, he called to confirm that I really wanted that size. The packing slip was noted that customer has responsibility for fitment.
The KDWS is slightly wider that the Continental 4000H of the same size that I took off, and the fit is slightly closer, but there is still room.

Have any of you noticed a change in the accuracy of your speedometer??
I'm up to 10,000 miles on my KDW's and need to start thinking about new ones...
