It's true, my BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDWS (not KDW) in size 225/50R16 fit like a charm. Luke at tire rack is being cautious (as he should be). After I placed my order, he called to confirm that I really wanted that size. The packing slip was noted that customer has responsibility for fitment.
The KDWS is slightly wider that the Continental 4000H of the same size that I took off, and the fit is slightly closer, but there is still room.
