Hello, just a quick question (hopefully). From what I understand, the offset for the stock 16x6.5 SVT wheels is +47mm. Is it the same for the Cougar 16" wheels? I've looked around and some people say it's +42, while others +47.

It is quite important when dealing with availibilty of aftermarket wheels. I assume a range is acceptable, but what range? Thanks.

EO wheels have a 49.5 mm offset according to the Ford factory video that compares the differences between SVT Contours vs. other Duratecs. (Tape is posted in classifieds under miscellaneous.)I would expect E1 wheels to be the same, but can't point to a specific reference. Mark

Thanks for the info guys. Might not have reached a consensus but I'm satisfied that they're within the "acceptable range".

Focus and contour are the same 4 lug 108 offset. Im not sure if the cougar fits in that but I would think it would. Brian Originally posted by Gerald: Hello, just a quick question (hopefully). I have seen on the cougar forums board where someone replaced stock 'tour wheels with the stock polished cougar wheels. Our wheels "I own a roush cougar", are 4x108 and the offset is +42mm. hope this helps
