OP Greg Forbes Junior Member G Joined: May 2001 Posts: 11 Silver Spring, MD	I am buying new wheels but need to submit all the OE specs to Tire Rack so they can figure what will clear the Wilwoods. I primarily don't know the offset and bolt pattern. If someone knows all the specs for the early cars' flat-faced, 6-spoke wheels (I don't know if that is a good description), that would be great. 1996 Contour SE, 5-speed, Black A'PEXi S-AFC, Scorpion cat-back exhaust, MSDS Headers, SHO Shop Y-pipe, Fidanza flywheel, Quaife ATB differential, itg foam filter, Magnecors, Koni's, Eibach's, Sparco front strut brace, SHO-shop rear strut tower brace, BAT 22mm rear anti-roll bar, Wilwood Dynalite 4-piston calipers, SVT size rotors, Aeroquip brake lines, 17" OZ Superleggera's, Dunlop SP Sport 9000's

timd Member T Joined: May 2000 Posts: 770 Earth	I am assuming you're moving to 17" wheels to clear your aftermarket calipers (nice choice BTW). For a 17" by 7" wheel you're looking at a 40 to 42 mm offset ideally. Bolt pattern is 4x108mm no matter what; the offset will be a little different on a 7.5" wide wheel though. I second the recommendation to contact Luke, he's the guy to talk to at the Tire Rack when it comes to wheels and Contours. T.

Luke@tirerack Moderator L Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 442 South Bend, IN USA	The billet aluminum calipers from Wilwood that you are using require a minimum of 20mm more clearance (actually it's 19.4mm) according to the brake/caliper profile from Wilwood. The OZ Superleggera has an additional 25mm so this will work perfectly. On a side note since you are dropping so much unsprung weight the braking enhance that you have made will be much more effective.
