i like the G20 interior layout well enough, but i think the Contour's is definitely better. Easier to read. Volvo has to be the most confusing setup i have ever seen. Especially the HVAC. My old Monte was the ultimate worst. the stereo/HVAC controls were well out of arm's reach.
the best single control on VW/Audi is the sunroof switch. turn the knob 1/4 and the glass opens 1/4. turn the knob all the way and the glass opens all the way. ingenious!
in addition, i actually really like the layout on my MG. the HVAC knobs are on either side of the steering wheel and are right on front. i just wish my speedometer worked!!!
