It seems that since I posted a couple of wheels that are 18" many people have chosen to "flame" me. Going so far as to say that I do not care about the advice that I offer. The wheels I posted were load tested for the application that the contour needs. as far as other wheels I do not know their testing procedures or even if they were tested for a given application. That is why I will not recommend them. Since this has been what this forum has chosen to do and support I will limit my comments on products to basic info such as cost and availablity and no testing , safety, performance or value related info or issues . Apparently the people here know more about cars than somebody who has been in the automotive industry for over 20 years and has been racing for 18 years. If anybody here feels that I offered incorrect info I do apologize but, the info I offered was correct at the time.
