if you are looking for a speed rated snow tire, they recommended some good tires. Most of the rest mentioned on here are not speed rated snows, for most of us, speeds of 80 mph and up just aren't necessary or safe through most of the winter and we save the high speed hijinks for the summer rubber
Seriously though, if you need speed rated snows, you can't go wrong with those recommended, but if you don't need the >80 mph (though you can safely go at least 100
) on a regular basis, the Yoks or the other blizzaks will be just fine, and a heck of a lot cheaper too.
