When I opened the doors they scraped the top of the snow. I wouldn't recommend playing like a 4 x 4 either, but they will help you in heavier snow than I thought would be possible with this car. Personally I can't wait to get my 4 x 4 out of the shop (broken timing chain) and play, but since I am fixing it, it will be a while yet.

I use the car w/ Blizzaks when I should get to work with less than 5 inches of snow. Any more, and my job isn't worth a 3 hour commute each way. I stay home and play with the 4x4 instead and complain that I can't get the car down my street.
Sorry to hear about the engine. Is it a newer Ford Triton? I don't want to be scared about my 5.4L.
